This Community presentation will summarize the 7 sessions of community input and knowledge creation that have guided the design process.
The community discussion topics were:
- The History of Lake Street (Nicollet) /Mapping History/Lake and Nicollet Today
- Community Aspirations – What has worked to close disparities in the real world.
- Culture and Community – How we use space
- Economics and Economic Impacts
- Eliminating racial disparities in economic well-being
- Design Matters – Public Space
- Design Matters – Housing/Commercial and Overall Site
The final recommendations will be presented for community review in Collaboration with PPL on December 16, 2021
