Childbirth Prep for People of Color “Taweret” is the protective ancient Egyptian goddess of childbirth and fertility. Please join us at Roots for a culturally-competent childbirth education series focused on people of color. Birth doula and educator Akhmiri Sekhr-Ra will be teaching the class, which is 4 weeks long, from 1pm – 3:00pm. Sessions will be Sunday 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30.
